If you're looking to buy or rent property in most cases you will spend a lot of your own time either browsing websites or visiting a myriad of Estate Agents for your new home or rental pad.
Why not take that hassle away and let property owners, either those looking to sell or would be landlords, find you. Not only do a host of online residential property websites offer a Property Wanted Listing service, but it's also likely that your local Estate Agent will as well. This should be considered as a valid option alongside your own efforts of browsing the property websites, whether they are Estate Agents or Privately Property Selling and Letting specialists.
It certainly cannot harm your chances of finding your dream property. Finding a new home to purchase or your next rental accommodation can be extremely time consuming and in some cases can be a painful experience. However, you need to increase the odds of finding your next property. It's not dis-similar from a company marketing a new product or service. They will use many different channels to promote themselves. This is no different from you looking for property. A Property Wanted Listing should be a big consideration when making your next home move.

Do Your Research before Listing Your Property Privately
There are a variety of Property Listings available to those looking at posting an advert whether letting or selling privately. Offline property owners or those seeking property to rent can, for example, post adverts in local newspapers or list their details in shop windows. Online there are many different websites offering to list properties.
It is worthwhile investigating the various options available. Online there are some websites which may require a fair amount of detail if you have a property you are wanting to rent out. At the other end of the spectrum will be those that display teaser property adverts. The cost of listing will vary. Some will charge upfront fees, whilst others, like ourselves, will only charge for property enquiries. There are also websites that will offer a completely free service. However, it's extremely important that you do your research before you decide the right property listing service for you. Things to consider before listing your property are:
- Will your contact details be displayed on the website to would be tenants?
- What will the websites do to try and attract potential tenants to your property advert?
- Has the website been recommended?
There will different approaches from the online offerings. Just be prepared to do your homework!
Alternately if you have decided that it appears to be too much work you can always opt to use an Estate Agent, however remember that with this approach there will tend to be larger fees involved.

A Property Wanted advert could help you find that property to rent
Many people still visit Estate Agents if they are looking for property to rent. This may also prompt them to register their details with them to receive mailings of new property to let.
Consideration should be taken to posting a property wanted advert on the internet. By casting the net wider home seekers may actually find the perfect property they are looking to rent. This option gives potential tenants the ability to test the market. Registering with an Estate Agent is useful if they have the property you are looking for. In many cases potential renters could be missing a huge opportunity by not considering alternative approaches such as listing the property wanted to rent.
If you are looking to rent a property then it is well worth considering such websites, like movingsoon.co.uk, as a potential source.

Paying for qualified property leads the way forward
You can pay upfront for advertising your property to rent privately, but there is no guarantee on a return for your investment i.e. people responding to your listing. We've had first hand experience of this, so it's interesting to see that even some of the bigger portals have adopted the same model for Estate Agents that advertise with them. We all want a return for our investment so we think that paying for qualified leads for property listings is the way forward.
As it's free to list your property with us we certainly believe you should try out our property listing concept.

Why we think our property lead referral concept works
Whether you are looking at renting your property or seek property wanted to rent we believe our concept works. If you are renting your house or property there are opportunities to either utilise estate agents or you can rent your property privately. Depending on estate agents you can either engage them to manage your property or they will offer to find you a tenant. However, if you are considering the latter why not try and find the tenant for your property yourself. Using our property enquiry service enables you to test the market and see if there is interest in your property listing.
Another big plus is that we do not display your contact details on our site, thus ensuring confidentiality. Interested parties will submit their details and it's up to you if you want to receive the details or not. It is really that simple. Only then will contact details be shared so you can get in touch with the person (or people) interested in your property listing.
